Contaminated Land – Geo-environmental Engineer
Leeds
One of the country`s leading consultants to the built, natural and social environment, employing in excess of 1800 people within a diverse geographical spread throughout UK and Europe is seeking 3 Contaminated Land Geo Environmental Engineers to work in its Leeds Office.
You will be qualified to both BSc. Level within a relevant environmental science*engineering discipline. MSc an advantage
The successful candidates should have at least 2-3 years experience in environmental consultancy or equivalent experience in the public or private sector.
Able to supervise geo-environmental site investigations, schedule soil & groundwater samples for analysis and interpret the results using current environmental guidelines.
The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience working within project teams.
The successful candidates should have an understanding of risk assessment packages, e.g. CLEA, R&D P20.
The successful candidates should have an understanding of remedial solutions available in the UK.
Experience in the on-site supervision of remediation schemes is also preferable.
